Wordless Wednesday--Smoky Mountain River

These were taken in one of my favorite places in the whole world--The Smoky Mountains.

I know you are all busy checking out everyone's Wordless Wednesday but take the time to bookmark me and drop back to check out my blog. I am a retired Special Ed teacher who now spends most of her time on Sanibel Island, Florida volunteering for a Wildlife hospital rescuing and rehabbing wildlife. I even dumpster dive for injured Raccoons!! I am also the proud grandma of 5 wonderful grandkids and brag about them often!! I also have a blog called Branches and Roots where I talk about genealogy and my ancestors. OK, enough about me. Back to Wordless Wednesday.

Beautiful pictures! Are you with ding darling or crow? My family takes their vacation on Sanibel every year. We've been going there for over 14 years now. My parents hope to retire there one day. I did some work with project red fish on the island and also another organization the has since left the island.

Very beautiful location! Kind of reminds me of those brief years in my childhood living in NM. I loved playing in the rivers and streams.

The photos are so beautiful! We live fairly close to the Smokeys, I would be very interested in knowing more about where these photos were taken (as in so we can go ourselves) :D

Retired teacher!? Do we ever truly retire? I taught for 5 years and am now home with our four and teaching is synonomous with breathing is it not?! :D

Happy Ww!

What a wonderfully peaceful-looking place. Babbling brook is a sound I could listen to forever, number 2 to surf!

Gorgeous photos of a beautiful place.

3 things...I was a special ed teacher for 20 years...now retired. I love reading the Randy Wayne White novels sent in Sanibel Island! And my husband lived in Findlay (his sister still does) for several years and attended Bowling Green. My father-in-law worked for RCA there.

Oh, and we LOVE the Smokies!

Enjoyed your blog!!
