Wordless Wednesday-A is for Alligators

Anyone for a swim?
This was taken at the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine.

I know you are all busy checking out everyone's Wordless Wednesday but take the time to bookmark me and drop back to check out my blog. I am a retired Special Ed teacher who now spends most of her time on Sanibel Island, Florida volunteering for a Wildlife hospital rescuing and rehabbing wildlife. I even dumpster dive for injured Raccoons!! I am also the proud grandma of 5 wonderful grandkids and brag about them often!! I also have a blog called Branches and Roots where I talk about genealogy and my ancestors. OK, enough about me. Back to Wordless Wednesday.

Uhhhhhh... NO! We used to go to St. Augustine on our way down to Florida every summer ... I remember several things - but NOT alligators! LOL! That looks like waaaaaaay too many for that little pool though...

My daughter would be begging to take them home!

I bet those tiny teeth have a real pinch to them. Yikes!

Well, now this is just about nasty! Why are they all piled up like that? How scary! I'd rather visit my Musk Ox farm, thanks! :) Happy WW! (Oh, I should go take some photos there for everyone!).

Feeding time on the ol' homestead, huh? Ever since I read Charles Sobczak's book, I have even more respect for them.

Ackkk, it took me a while, plus your hint to actually SEE. Lucky you Sannibel Island is a heavenly place!

No thank you, I think I'll swim elsewhere. :)

I think I'll give the swim a miss. Though I have swum in crocodile infested rivers in my youth - that was before I realised my mortality :)
