Camera Critters--Please Santa, Don't Be Late

Awhile back, I found this great meme called Camera Critters. I love the pictures and decided that with my wealth of critter pictures down here in SW Florida, I would join in and I have for several weeks now. I would like to have you hop on over to Camera Critters. There you can either sign up for your own post for Camera Critters or see lots and lots of other great critter pics. So, now that you've done that--here is my critter for the day.

This was our kitty, Shilo. (Named for a Neil Diamond song.) She loved Christmas. She didn't climb the tree or really bother the ornaments. But if she could lay on top of a present, she was in heaven. She also loved to "open" her Christmas stocking on Christmas morning and there was nothing more fun than playing in the gift wrapping that had just been removed from the presents. She did liven up Christmas, I must say. And I would like to wish Shilo's namesake, Milo, a very Merry Christmas.

Milo will be one year old this coming Christmas. She is much like Shilo. Her sisters are not nearly as curious or playful as she is. Her favorite toys are a hair scrunchie and a plastic lizard. She wants nothing to do with expensive kitty toys.
Thanks for sharing Shilo's photo and your holiday wishes.

Shilo! I believe a celebrity couple has recently named their child after you (except they tacked on an extra "h" at the end). Pretty kitty!

Perhaps she was claiming that present as her own! :)

Cute! We had a cat once that used to lie under the lit up tree on her back and stare at the lights. She also liked to eat tinsel!

I'm having a givaway at my blog this week. Please stop by!

I think Shilo is claiming the gift.

Oh..what a beautiful car Shilo was and it's nice that she took her rightful place on the package..

Our cats never bothered the tree-they thought it was really nice we put up an extra drinking bowl for them(so we could never put any preservative in the stand). And they, too, thought it was nice we put those boxes out for them to lay on.
Cute shot!

Cats always seem to love Christmas trees. The two of them go well together.

Happy Holidays
