Pictures Part 3-Cabrillo National Monument

Ok, so to continue with pictures from Cabrillo National Monument.

As I said in my last post, the views of the bay and the city from Point Loma is amazing.

Karen and two of the kids enjoyed the view while Michael sat with Ethan who was SLOWLY eating.

Of course there was a statue of Senor Cabrillo.

At the end of Point Loma is the Old Point Loma Lighthouse. It is up on the bluff. The New Point Loma Lighthouse is at the bottom of the cliff.

The lighthouse is small but the living quarters are furnished. You can't go all the way up the stairs but you can look up at the light.

The Assistant Lighthouse Keepers house was has been turned into a museum. I love looking through prisms!

The little ones loved listening on the telephones and looking at the displays.

And of course, I'm always on the lookout for wildlife. This hawk apparently enjoyed visiting the lighthouse also.

The day at Cabrillo National Monument was great. We enjoyed everything from throwing rocks to the views to seeing the lighthouse. More pictures later from the Maritime Museum.

Yeah, I like that one looking up into the lighthouse tower. And the one of the twins on the phone is really cute.

I can't wait to get our computer back from the shop so I can have my photo database back!!!
