The Sign is in the Yard

Well, there you have it. The sign went up today. I was gone all day and it felt rather strange when I got home to see the sign in the yard. Then when I walked in the door, Mr. Snowbird told me that Greg had called and said he wanted to show the house tomorrow morning! Whoa!!! And I didn't even have St. Joseph planted yet. So, after giving the house a quick straightening (I cleaned like a mad fool yesterday), I gathered up some utensils and St. Joseph and headed outside. I dug a hole near the sign and planted St. Joseph, head down, facing the house. I said a little prayer to St. Joseph and it is in his hands (or feet) now. I know--it doesn't look like I buried him very deep but the ground was hard and with all of our getting rid of everything under the sun, I had no garden tools so I had to use kitchen utensils. Not the best thing to dig holes with!I then realized that I had never, in the 35 years we lived here, actually gone around the entire house and taken pictures of it. So, that is what I did. I thought you might like to see what we have for sale.

Want to buy a house???

It looks very inviting I bet it will go easily. Now if the house sells do you dig ST. Joseph back up.

Yes, I dig him up and take him to my new house (well, my existing trailer) in Sanibel.

Your place is immaculate. I bet it sells quickly. Your home is so much nicer than mine, but I'm not sure I could handle having a neighbor right there so close. I've always lived having my space and the jerk across the road and I have been to court already. Could you imagine what would happen if I lived there! lol :) You home is beautiful...I bet is sells faster than you hoped and you'll be back in Sanibel in no time at all.

Love the pictures of the azaleas and the flowers hanging from your porch! I wish you good luck. We did not bury a St. J....sheesh and it took us many months to sell the HI house. Hopefully it will take you a lot less!
