- Change happens in our lives. I have recently had a big change. We were living our dream on Sanibel Island, Florida. Then my husband was diagnosed with Cognitive Disorder Dementia. It was time to be near family for help and support so we moved to El Cajon, California to be near our daughter and her family. Life is different here but it is so nice to be near family. It will take time to adjust but I am flexible!

Unbelievable, huh? I have a few newspapers from the 60s, but I am afraid to really open them up for fear of tearing them.

Well, now I'm crying as I get ready to go to the grocery store to feed my 3 constanly eating kids and one hungry hubby!!
Did you find these ads when cleaning out a life time of stuff in your Ohio (ex) home?
I bet that roast was still expensive back in the good old days:-)
My grandmother gave me a box of "Ladies Home Journals"from the early 1900's. it was funny to see all the ads for almond paste to bleach women's skin.
It just goes to show how priorities change.
