Classic Cars

I just realized that I haven't really blogged about much of anything lately. I guess it's because one day is pretty much like the other what with taking most of my worldly goods to the barn for the auction or cleaning out cupboards or separating all of my pictures to be given to my son, my daughter, my niece, etc. However, this weekend, I did get to see my niece and her family. Since we haven't seen each other for quite a few years, my son and his family came too so that they could all meet. And can you believe we didn't take any pictures!!!

After the niece left, son, grandson, granddaughter, hubby and I walked downtown to see the Classic Car Festival. 4 blocks of Main Street were closed off and loaded with classic cars of all sorts. I'm not really into cars but I did take a bunch of pictures of some really neat ones, strange ones, and a couple I wouldn't mind owning. So here goes.

A view of Main Street. This was a rather different car made by Willys in Toledo. My granddaughter enjoying the view.
Corvette Row
Drag-u-la. Yup, that's a casket!
The license plate says it all.
The Pink Panther
The Shock Top Brew Pub on Wheels. Notice the tap on the trunk.
And, of course, my favorite-a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith. Pure Luxury!!

Even though I'm not really a car person, it was fun just being with family for the day.
