We went to Disney World a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Pop Century Resort. Red seems to be a very popular color there. OK, I know you are all busy checking out everyone's Ruby Tuesday but take the time to bookmark me and drop back to check out my blog. I am a retired Special Ed teacher who now lives in paradise on Sanibel Island, Florida which is a Sanctuary Island for wildlife. I volunteer for a wildlife hospital. I am also the proud grandma of 5 wonderful grandkids and brag about them often!! I also have a blog called Branches and Roots where I talk about genealogy and my ancestors. OK, enough about me. So if you really want to see red go to Work of the Poet

Ruby Tuesday--Red Umbrella

When we were at Disney World a couple of weeks ago, we stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside. They have a gorgeous pool with Red Umbrellas. The Life Guards were also sporting lots of red.OK, I know you are all busy checking out everyone's Ruby Tuesday but take the time to bookmark me and drop back to check out my blog. Ruby Tuesday-Generations

This is a picture of my husband's cousin, Elana, who lives in Tel Aviv. We've never met although we correspond once in awhile. This past year, she and her husband were on a book tour of the US with a book he had written. The tour took them to San Diego where my daughter lives and they stayed with her for three days. Karen got some amazing pictures of Elana and David with my grandkids. I especially love this one of Elana and my grandson, Luka. Such joy in both faces. Thanks, Karen, for letting me steal this picture.

Ruby Tuesday-Police Parking Lot

On our trip to Ireland this summer, we drove by the police station in Dublin one day. Our driver pointed out to us that all of these cars parked here were the policemen's own private cars. Man, I hope they all get off work at the same time or nobody is going anywhere!!

Ruby Tuesday-Baseballs and Autographs

Since I grew up in Michigan, my favorite baseball team was the Detroit Tigers. For years, I would listen to them on the radio and always loved the announcer, Ernie Harwell. On my birthday last year, a friend of mine sent me this baseball. Pretty cool, huh?

Ruby Tuesday-Lighthouses
Last week when we were in Michigan, we found these beautiful little Lighthouses. Michigan is known for it's many lighthouses. Here are three of them. By the way, if you have ever seen the movie, Somewhere in Time, the little lighthouse in the first photo is in that movie.

Ruby Tuesday-Hotel on Wheels

Now this is the way to go on a tour. When we were in Killarney, I took a picture of this. It is a motor coach pulling a "hotel" on wheels. So all you have to do is hit the road in the morning, travel all day, then walk a few steps to your "room". No packing and unpacking suitcases. Of course, I'm not sure what they do for the Full Irish Breakfast each morning.

Ruby Tuesday-

I posted some reds from Ireland last week. I did save back one which I thought was adorable. I saw this on the wall of an alley in Killarny.

Ruby Tuesday-Irish Reds
We recently spent 11 days in Ireland. It is amazing how when you are a blogger, your idea of picture taking totally changes. I looked for yellows and reds and windows etc. Here are a few of my reds.
