In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that everyone takes it easy (kind of like it is here on Sanibel). I found this great meme on several blogs that I read and it looked like fun--so here goes. I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Then when you've answered my question, go on over to An Island Life for other fun Aloha Friday questions and to play along!
So, my question for the day is: What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
We are going to our friend's, Steve and Diana's. Diana works for Publix, the local grocery chain, and has ordered their ready made dinner with all the fixings. Of course we are going "halvsies" so that we can bring home half the leftovers. That is my favorite part of Thanksgiving--the leftovers. I don't know why they always seem to taste better than the original meal. So our day will be spent with good friends, good food, good adult beverages, and 4 loving Greyhounds.

My parents and my granny come to my house and we cook here and eat here. If my husband's parents are in town they eat with us too because his family has their Thanksgiving on a different day so to make it easier of their 5 kids to have Thanksgiving with their in-laws. =)
We'll just have my dad and Erich(the Younger) with us,this year.Love the left overs too.
Heading to some friends. Then I'll make a dinner for us on Thursday or Sunday. Yummm
Heading to Grandmas house...Over the bridges and thru the woods!!!
We are going to my aunt's house to spend the day with my father's side of the family. Hubby's family is just too far away for a day trip. It will be great to see family, but I wish my brother, SIL and niece were able to make it.
Going to a restaurant with friends. I'm hoping it's an easy, relaxing day.

We are dropping off our turkey to be cooked in an underground imu!!! I promise to blog about it. I read your moonrise post, and meant to comment. Do you know that we have done the same thing here at Lanikai Beach? (Near Kailua, Windward Side)...once a month? We used to have moon rise parties...but we kind of dropped back once we had our second.
