Today is Mr. Snowbird's 79th birthday. He said this morning that he never dreamed he would feel this good at this age. For years his birthday was celebrated on August 12th not the 10th. Why, you might ask. Well, I'll tell you. He is adopted and his adoptive mother apparently thought his birthday was on the 12th. When he entered the Army during the Korean War--or should I say Conflict--she gave him his adoptive history. All of a sudden, he discovered that he was born on the 10th. But, he--and later we-- still continued to celebrate on the 12th. Sometime back, he decided that it was time to celebrate on the actual date--so we do. Unfortunately, some members of his family (Dave!! LOL) tend to get confused and can't remember if it is the 10th or 12th. So whenever it is,hon, happy birthday and many, many more.

Why not just split the difference, and celebrate on the 11th? That'll REALLY confuse the heck outta everyone! LOL
Happy Birthday, Mr Snowbird.

Maybe being married to Mrs. Snowbird has kept you feeling so good for so long. I know I would have problems keeping up with her:-)
Take care.
